WIN7 on the taskbar, the Excel icon on the right-click menu does not have the most recently opened document directory

Workaround:

Delete all files in the following folder, restart, and then drag the folder you want to pin back to the taskbar "attached to Windows Explorer"

%appdata%\microsoft\windows\recent\automaticdestinations "recent"

%appdata%\microsoft\windows\recent\customdestinations "pinned"

PS: Open the above path directly with start and run.
