MT83xx series:This series is used for tablets, the main products are MT8377 and MT8389, here I mainly talk about MT8389: MT8389 is not a Cortex-A9 architecture, A9 is some websites make misleading, it adopts the quad-core architecture of Cortex-A7, ARMv7A executes Instruction Set in sequence, uses 28nm LP process of TSMC, clock speed is 1209 MHz, supports 32bit single channel LPDDR2 class memory, and supports a maximum of 533 memory specifications. The same CPU produced by the same factory, even if the process is the same, the architecture, instruction set, and clock speed are the same, but the power consumption and heat consumption of each CPU are different, this is like when the CPU on the computer is too frequently, it finds that the "Physical Constitution" is different. When the two CPUs of the same model are too frequently, there is a significant difference in the calorific value. Some have high voltage and some have low voltage, the frequency that can be exceeded is also different. When Intel is producing CPU, the U of different constitution produced on the same assembly line will end up with different models and be sold at different prices, good fitness is expensive, and poor fitness is cheap. Similarly, the difference between MT8389 and MT6589 lies in the "Physical Fitness" problem.

The power consumption of MT6589 is generally 500-700 mW at a GHz frequency.
