In general, it is difficult to repair a physical fault on the hard disk, but there is a way to try it, that is, low-level formatting.
Low-level formatting divides blank tiles into concentric circles and channels with different radius. It also divides the channels into several sectors with a capacity of 512 bytes.
In the following cases, low-level formatting may be necessary:
① Due to the influence of the external Strong Magnetic Body and strong magnetic field, or due to long-term use, the magnetic record part of the hard disk is lost in the sector format divided by low-level formatting, resulting in a large number of "Bad Sectors ". Note that this is not physical damage to the disk. In this case, low-level formatting and re-partitioning the slice may be an effective method.
② To improve the performance of the hard disk, it is usually used to try to reset the sector "interleave" to improve the speed of reading and writing. Of course, there are also some software such as calibrat in Norton Utilities for DOS 6.0-8.0 (calibration program in Norton Utilities for DOS 8.0) that can perform low-level formatting without damaging data on the hard disk, to optimize the interval factor and increase the hard disk speed.

I firmly oppose repairing Hard Disk Physical Bad sectors with low-level formatting. The reason is:
