[Experimental device] One ADSL access line, one D-Link Broadband Router, two test PCs, and several network cables. [Tutorial] Step 1: connect to a Broadband Router. (Take DI-504 as an example)
First, connect the 9V AC power adapter that comes with the DI-504 to the rear panel of the DI-504; then insert the adapter into your power outlet. DI-504 front panel power LED light on, indicating the operation is correct.
 
Insert one end of an ethernet Cable to the WAN port on the rear of the DI-504 and the other end to the Ethernet port on your DSL/Cable modem.
The LED light on the WAN port on the DI-504 front panel shows that the operation is correct. If you are using ADSL Modem, connect the telephone line to the RJ-11 interface of ADSL Modem.
 
Insert one end of another Ethernet cable into the lanport on the back panel of the DI-504, and the other end into the computer NIC that you used to configure the DI-504. The LED light on the LAN port on the DI-504 front panel shows that the operation is correct.
Connect other computers to DI-504 Broadband Router:
With other ethernet cables, connect other computers with Ethernet interfaces that require access through the DI-504 Broadband Router to the remaining three lanports on the rear panel of the DI-504.
Step 2: Configure computer network settings. On the desktop of a computer in use, right-click the network neighbor and select "properties ".

If Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes = 32 time & lt; 1 ms TTL = 64 appears, it indicates that the computer has been connected to the DI-504, you can perform the next step.
Step 3: configure a Broadband Router. Open a Web browser, type [url] http: // 192.168.0.1 [/url] in the address bar, and press Enter.
 
In the subsequent login window, enter the username: admin, set the password to blank, and click OK ".
 
In the window that opens, click "setting wizard ".
 
Select "Next ".
 
Set a new password.
 
This password is the password used to log on to the vro management interface. It is blank by default and can be modified or kept unchanged.
Select the time zone.
 
DI-504 Broadband Router Select Internet connection type
(1) PPPOE connection mode configuration
 
 
Enter the user name and password provided by the ISP, click next, and then click reactivate to complete the configuration of the DI-504 Broadband Router.
 
(2) fixed IP address connection mode configuration

(3) Dynamic IP address connection mode configuration
