This article mainly introduced to you how to set the TP-LINK routing for operations, mainly from the connection settings, parameter settings two aspects of detailed introduction to you, I hope to help you.
Connection settings
1. line connection: connect the telephone line to the ADSL Jack of the ADSL Modem, and connect the 10 BaseT Jack of the ADSL Modem with a network cable, the other is connected to the WAN port of the TP-LINK340 + wireless router (that is, connected to the Internet), with a network cable to connect the LAN port of the router to your computer NIC (that is, the Intranet), connected to the power of the cat and wireless router, this completes the hardware installation and connection.
2. Computer IP settings: Set your computer IP address to "automatically get IP Address". If a wireless network card is available, set it to "automatically get IP Address". The DNS points to the vro, that is, 192.168.1.1, you can also manually enter DNS and backup DNS.
3. router settings: the router's Factory Address is generally 192.168.1.1. Therefore, you only need to open Internet Explorer on your computer and enter http: // 192.168.1.1/enter in the address bar, enter the access interface of the vro, and enter its access account and password (the default access account and password are admin. For details, refer to the product manual, enter the configuration interface of the vro. Click the "Installation Wizard" option to enter the Configuration Wizard interface of the router. This page displays a welcome page for the Configuration Wizard. Follow the prompts to select the ADSL virtual Internet access method, enter the Internet account and password provided by the network service provider to you, and enable the wireless function, the frequency band ranges from 1 to 13. You can select either of them. Set the mode to default. Click Next and click Finish.
4. When the general manual arrives, you can browse the Web page smoothly. In fact, we find that our computer cannot access the Internet, and we still need to set some parameters. Below are the basic parameter settings.
Parameter settings
1. For the mac address of the vro, find the clone mac address option, select clone mac address, and save it. Note that some routers do not have the mac address clone option, so we only need to manually modify the mac address of the router, enter the IP address of your computer Nic In the mac address option of the vro. You can obtain the mac address of your Nic: click "start"-"run"-Enter "cmd"-OK, enter the command prompt, enter "ipconfig/all" in the win2000/xp operating system, and press Enter. You can see a string of characters (for example, 00-E0-4C-9-B4-43), which is the mac address.
2. Select the "Network Parameters" option. First, select the LAN port parameter settings. the MAC address is the MAC address of the local router to the LAN. This value cannot be changed. The IP address is the IP address of the router to the LAN. The default gateway of all computers in the LAN must be the IP address. Note that if the IP address of the LAN port is changed, you must use a new IP address to log on to the vro for WEB interface management.
In addition, if the IP address of the LAN port you set is the same as that of the cat, the IP address may conflict with the cat's IP address, resulting in the inability to access the Internet. If the IP address of the original LAN port is not in the same network segment, the functions of the vro's virtual server and DMZ host will be invalid. If you want to enable these features, you need to reset them. The subnet mask is the subnet mask of the vro to the LAN. Generally, it is 255.255.255.0. The subnet mask of all computers in the LAN must be the same as the subnet mask.
The WAN port connection type refers to three common Internet access modes supported by this router. Please select according to your own situation. If you are using a dynamic IP address, that is, you can automatically obtain an IP address from a network service provider (such as China Telecom), select "Dynamic IP Address". If you are using a static IP address, that is, if you have a fixed IP address provided by a network service provider (for example, China Telecom), select "static IP Address". If you are using the ADSL virtual dialing method, select "PPPoE ".
Enter the Internet account and Internet password specified by the ISP for your specified ADSL Internet account and isp adsl Internet password. If you select on-demand connection, the connection is automatically performed when there is a network access request from the LAN. If the automatic disconnection wait time T is not equal to 0, the network is automatically disconnected when no network access traffic is detected within T consecutive minutes to protect your Internet resources. This setting takes effect only for on-demand connections and manual connections. Manual connection refers to the manual ADSL dial-up connection after the instance is started. We recommend that you select automatic connection and save the settings.
3. Set the DHCP server. Select "DHCP server" to set the DHCP server function of the vro. The address pool start address refers to the starting address of the IP address automatically allocated by the DHCP server. For example, the start address is 192, 168, 1, and 101. The end address of the address pool refers to the end address of the IP address automatically allocated by the DHCP server, such as 192, 168, 1, and 199. The gateway is optional. It is recommended that you enter the IP address of the newly set LAN port of the router. The default value is 192.168.1.1. the primary DNS server can also be set to the DNS server provided by the ISP. If you are not clear, you can ask the ISP for other options.
Note: To use the DHCP server function of this router, the TCP/IP protocol of each computer in the LAN must be set to "automatically obtain IP addresses ". This function takes effect only after the vro is restarted.
After setting these basic parameters, restart the vro and access the internet!
