Detailed Win8 the new password function

The Windows 8 system itself has three encryption methods, one is the traditional local account password and the other two are newly added encryption methods. One is the PIN code, the other is the picture password. This interface, when we use the Microsoft account login, we need to enter the password of the Microsoft account, if you log in to the local account, directly enter the local account password. You will then receive the option to enter a PIN, which consists of 4 digits, as shown in the figure:

When you have entered a pin that you have set up, click Finish, and the PIN code is set to complete.

When we return to the lock screen interface, there are two login options, one is the Windows password, the other is the PIN code, select any one of the input password can enter the system.

So this is the addition of the new PIN protection, and the other is a picture password, this feature is very novel, you can draw a hand in the selected picture, by drawing gestures to unlock. Here I would like to introduce you to this new function.

As with the way to set PIN code, we need to open to set, click to change the computer settings to select the user option, find the Create Picture Password option, click in:

It will also allow us to enter a local account or a Microsoft account password:
