When your computer is connected to a router, the following methods are set up for di-524m wireless networking:
After connecting to di-524m, open IE browser, type 192.168.0.1 in the Address bar, and click Enter. Enter the router user name and password to enter the router configuration interface.
Click on the left wireless setting. The di-524m wireless feature is activated by default (that is, after you turn on the router, your computer can find the device through the wireless card), the default wireless network name (SSID) is DLink (the name of the device can be searched), the default channel is 6, and there is no security method by default.
Activate wireless to turn on or off the router's wireless capabilities.
"Wireless network Name" is the name of the wireless network that the computer can discover, and some routers are also called "SSID"
Wireless channels can be manually selected, or use the "Automatic Scan channel function" of the router.
It is recommended that you use the Automatic Scan channel feature to avoid frequency interference from other wireless networks.
The encryption of wireless networks is an important implementation method to ensure wireless security.
The following security options are available: Wep,wpa-personal, Wpa2,wpa2-auto. For the average user, you can choose wep,wpa-personal One of these two ways.
The following configuration instructions are configured for the general user-selectable encryption method.
1. WEP mode encryption
After you select the WEP security method, the following interface appears.
There are two options for WEP encryption, one is 64Bit and one is 128Bit.
There are two ways to password: HEX (hexadecimal) and ASCII.
Under 64Bit encryption, the hex password method needs to fill in 10 16 characters (that is, optional between the number 0~9, the letter a~f or the a~f), and the ASCII code needs to fill in 5 ASCII characters (hexadecimal). The password can be filled in at any one location in the 1~4 WEP password. Click "Save Settings" when you are finished. The configuration completes after the router is automatically reactivated.
2. Wpa-personal Way
For both of these ways, simply fill out a shared password and click on the Save settings above
