We have purchased several routers for the sake of wireless access or extended wireless coverage. This document mainly describes how to use multiple routers to achieve full coverage of the home network.

L solution for expanding the wired network of a home network to a wireless network
Assume that there is an ADSL broadband line (or residential broadband line), and two computers are connected to the Internet through a wired broadband router. The network connection diagram is as follows:
The network cable is connected directly to desktops and other devices in the room or other locations in the home. However, mobile devices in the home, such as tablets, mobile phones, and laptops, are inconvenient or cannot connect to wired Internet, you need to use wireless networks to access the Internet and add a new wireless router to meet your needs. Suppose we purchased a m wireless router TL-WR841N, we can follow the figure two methods (recommended method 1) to build a home wireless network:
Method 1: use a wireless router to directly replace a wired router to achieve simultaneous wired and wireless Internet access (Recommendation).
Method 2: do not want or cannot remove the wired router, Cascade the wireless router to the wired router to achieve simultaneous wired and wireless Internet access.
TL-WR841NSetting method (the original wired router remains unchanged and the configuration does not need to be changed ):
Step 1:Use a browser to access 192.168.1.1 and access its management interface when using PC2 to connect to the TL-WR841N (instead of connecting it to a wired broadband router.
Step 2:Go to the DHCP server-DHCP service, disable and save DHCP, as shown in the following figure:
Step 3:Go to wireless settings, set the relevant wireless signals and passwords, and save them, as shown in the figure:
Step 4:Enter the network parameter-LAN port settings, change the LAN port IP address to 192.168.1.2 (which can be changed to another IP address, which is between 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.50), save and restart, as shown in the figure:
After this operation, the administrative IP of the TL-WR845N will also change to 192.168.1.2.
Step 5:Connect the LAN port of the TL-WR841N to the LAN port of the original broadband router. At this point, the wireless coverage of the hall is complete, just a network cable or wireless connection to the TL-WR841N to share the broadband network.
