Diagram of ubuntu installation in VMware Player

Today we will introduce how to install ubuntu in VMware Player.
Download ubuntu ISO. The latest version is 11.04,: http://www.ubuntu.org.cn/getubuntu/download/
Open VMware Player and click Create a New Virtual Machine
 
On the Install from page, select I will install the operating system later.

Choose Linux on the Guest operating system page; select Ubuntu in Version.

Enter the Virtual machine name in Virtual machine name; enter the storage path of the Virtual machine in Location

In Maximum disk size, enter the disk space of the VM.

In Virtual Machine Settings à CD/DVD, select Use ISO and select the path of ISO.

The Chinese version is installed in this way. On the installation page, select the installation language: Chinese (simplified) and click "Install ubuntu" to start installation.

 
Problems encountered during installation:
Install the English version directly during installation without any language options
If you select "Installer disc imagefile (iso)" in step 3 "Install from page selection" during the installation process, the installation language selection interface is not displayed, after VMware Player is set, install ubuntu in English.
