Difference between Query of Like date type in ACCESS and SQL Server

I. Usage of LIKE in ACCESS

The wildcard usage of like in Access is as follows:

"?" Represents any single character; "*" Represents zero or multiple characters; "#" represents any number

So it should be:

Select * from databasename where fieldname like '* XX *'

However, in SQL SERVER, % Represents zero or multiple characters.

2. How to query date range data of datetime fields in ACCESS

If the field is of the time or date type, you are executing the statement similar to this.
Select * from [card] where [datetime] <= '2017-09-20 'and [datetime]> = '2017-09-01'
An error is reported in ACCESS. You should add "#" before the date field, that is:
Select * from [card] where [datetime] <= #2006-09-20 # and [datetime] >=# 2006-09-01 #
