Difference between range and xrange in Python

I just learned Python and used range in the previous loop. Later I saw someone using xrange. Then I checked it and found that xrange is better than range, mainly reflected in the memory.

Range actually creates a list and stores all the data in the memory.

Xrange is an object. It does not save this list, but calculates

When the range is not very large, the efficiency of the two is almost the same, but when the range is large, or frequent break, xrange is more suitable.

[0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]


>>> A = xrange (0, 10)
