Differences between CSS attributes and css attributes

Ele [attribute] matches the ele element with the attribute.

Ele [attribute = value] matches the element with attribute and value.

Ele [attribute ~ = Value] matches an element with an attribute and a value of value. (Multiple values are separated by spaces)

Ele [attribute | = value] matches an element with an attribute with a value of value or an ele element starting with value followed by a hyphen.

Ele [attribute ^ = val] matches elements with attribute attributes whose values start with val.

Ele [attribute $ = val] matches an element with an attribute whose value ends with val.

Ele [attribute * = val] matches the element with the attribute and the value to contain the val.
