The following tutorial makes it easy to disable apport:
Press Ctrl + Alt + T to open the terminal. Paste the following command to edit the configuration file:
Sudo gedit/etc/default/apport
When the file is opened, change the enabled value to 0 to save it.
You do not need to restart your computer:
Sudo service apport stop
