Discover a strange phenomenon in ASP

Today, I got an IP database and imported it to my database.

I set scripttimeout to a little longer. Then I stopped it and didn't respond.

I shut down the webpage again. I was dizzy and the script was still being executed. I didn't stop it for 20 minutes. I had to stop the process !!

It's okay to stop working on your computer. Isn't it dead if it is transferred to the server?

Q: How can I terminate the webpage in a timely manner?
