Problem
Recently, there was a problem in importing a MP3 music into flash, suggesting that one or more files could not be imported. Tried several methods, failed.

Use audio software cool Edit Pro to convert music format to solve, but in this way still cannot import, the problem is where?
So with the help of a friend, I did a test.
Version: FLASH MX
Audio software: Cool Edit Pro 2.1
Step: Open the Audio software, select the music to convert, double-click into the edit state, save as ... This is mainly the save format, as shown in the figure:
There are two options: MP3 and MP3 PRO.
The MP3 Pro Format menu is as follows:
The first bps is the bit rate of the audio, and the second Hz is the sampling frequency. You can see that the MP3 Pro format has the same sampling frequency, all 44.1KHz.
With this format, you can generally import, but there are also problems that cannot be imported.
Select the MP3 format and the dropdown menu is as follows:
The first test is to select a different sampling frequency for conversion import, found that most of the conversion to 44.1KHz can be successfully imported.
Is it possible for all 44.1KHz to be imported? Found in the test is not so, and then choose the sampling frequency 44.1KHz but different bit rate conversion import, found only 160kbps below can import, and the above can not.
Reason: Different MP3 song bit rate, sampling frequency is not exactly the same, bit rate has 40kbps, 128kbps, 192kbps and so on, and the sampling frequency also has 32KHz, 44KHz, 48KHz and many other. Previously MP3 standard sampling frequency is 44.1khz, and Flash's support sampling frequency may be this standard.
Later, I tried to import a number of music files can not be imported into the 128kbps, 44.1khz format MP3, can be successfully imported.
Conclusion: At the time of conversion, if you choose MP3 Pro format, you can solve most of the problems, because the format itself is the sampling rate of 44.1. And the safest way is to convert it into a 128kbps,44.1khzmp3 format.
Of course, the format of the audio vary, different versions and different tests may have different results, there is nothing wrong, we further explore together.
