In Discuz! In section 7.0, some webmasters may accidentally delete other user groups when setting user groups. This will cause users belonging to this user group to fail to access the forum normally.
The following describes in detail how to restore a user group that has been accidentally deleted so that users belonging to this user group can access the forum normally.
I. Symptom
After a user group is deleted by mistake, users belonging to the user group cannot access the forum normally. After a user logs on to the Forum, the following error message is displayed:
II. Solution
Open phpMyAdmin => open the database used by the forum:
Open the usergroups table:
Click "Insert", as shown in the figure:
Enter groupid and grouptitle, as shown in the figure below:
After entering the information, click "execute", as shown in the figure below:
Click Browse, as shown in the following figure:
You can see that the user group 10 "newbie" has been added:
Then log on to the Forum background and choose user> User Group> details to set the User group:
So far, the user group has been added successfully, and members of the user group can access the forum again.
