Discuz! How to move the column on channel X

Discuz! As webmasters, X provides excellent functions and performance to meet all requirements. I am from Discuz! X1.0 uses it as a local portal. But Discuz! From 1.0 to the latest 3.0RC, X has never solved a problem, that is, Channel Column movement; Discuz forums are also filled with posts on such issues.

 

My local site, when the first 10 news columns are all first-level columns, there are more and more post articles. We need to integrate all news columns into a first-level column for ease of management. So after a very painful exploration, I finally found a suitable method. After that, some of my friends asked me how to make it easier for you to simply write the text. The following describes the methods.

1. The operating system is Discuz! X3.0RC, similar to other versions later than 2.0, is not guaranteed to be valid.

2. Use phpmyadmin to directly connect to Discuz! In database X, find and open the pre_portal_category table. The pre of each site may be different, which is the table prefix during installation. For example:

My databases are from 1 to 14 top-level channels, which are very unscientific. The wedding channels behind me are all hierarchical.

Create a news and information channel first, for example, the ID is 178. next we will move the columns from 1 to 14 to a top-level topic [News]. We only need to modify the upid of each column from 1 to 14 to 178. Modify the upid and remember to modify the other two parameters (notinheritedarticle inherits the upper-level article management permission and notinheritedblock inherits the upper-level module management permission). The value is 1.

4. Go to the backend [Tool] to update the cache and compare the front-end diagram before and after the modification:

　　

5. After modification with this method, there will be no sequelae, no failure of the home page or other page DIY, and no failure to find the article. Because I have changed to the portal station, more than 10 days since the operation. Everything is good.

6. Of course, you can also turn the topic into a channel. Or topic interaction. You can use this method.
