Host disk configuration:
Create a volume group, create a logic volume, and add physical volume to the logical volume.
Is the disk array space identified. Create a file system, that is, format it, usually JFS or jfs2. Mount the created File System to the corresponding directory.
1. Enter systmgr-V on the terminal to scan the new hardware, and then enter lsdev-CC disk to display the recognized hard disk. The hard disk is recognized when emcpower occurs.
2. Enter Smitty, select item 4, system storage management (physical & Logical storage), and then select item 1, logical volume manager,
Select the first item "volume groups", create a volume group, select the second item, add a volume group with powerpath devices, and select the corresponding parameters. After a prompt is displayed, press OK.
3. The volume group is created. Next, create logical volume,
Smitty enter the logical volume manager and select the second item, logical volumes,
Select the second item, add a logical volume,
Select the volume group to which the logical volume belongs, select the volume group we created in the previous step, and press Enter.
Select number of logical Partions, select physical volume names, and press enter to create logical volume.
4. Next, create a file system, go to system storage management, and select the second item, file systems,
Select the third item, add/change/show/delete file systems, and then enhanced journaled file names es.
Select the first item, add an enhanced jounaled file system,
Select number of units, enter 3500, select mount point, and enter/SQL,
In this way, a 3500m partition is created and loaded to the/sql1 directory.
5. Return to the terminal window, enter Mount/SQL, and then input DF-G.
