Users can help users quickly locate document locations by viewing the Document Map and page thumbnails in the newly added Navigation pane of Word 2010. The steps for displaying the Document Map and page thumbnails in the Word 2010 document window are as follows:
Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window and switch to the view ribbon. Select the Navigation Pane check box in the display group in the View Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2009122803.

Step 2nd, in the Open Navigation Pane, click the "Browse your document title" button to view the document Map to see the title structure of the word 2010 document, as shown in Figure 2009122804.

In the Open Navigation Pane, click the Browse for pages in your document button to see the full Word 2010 Document page, as shown in Figure 2009122805.

Tip: If you want to suppress the Navigation Pane, cancel the Navigation Pane check box in the display group in the View Ribbon.
