When we use the Finder to browse files, the name of the current directory is displayed in the center at the top of the title bar. However, when the directory name is displayed, the complete path of the folder is not displayed, which makes it difficult to know the exact location of the current directory. One solution to this problem is to use the path bar, and another trick is to directly display the complete directory path on the title bar.

The method is very simple. Open the terminal and enter the following command:

Step 1: Defaults write com. Apple. Finder _ fxshowposixpathintitle-bool Yes

Step 2: killall Finder

Display the complete directory path on the title bar
