Domain name Quotient 2014 Annual report: 35 Total connected domain names increased to 334,000

IDC Commentary Network (idcps.com) January 21 reported: According to the domain name statistics agency Webhosting.info data, as of December 29, 2014, 35 interconnected domain name total of 334,559, the annual net increase of 6,614, with the chain last 14, 032 Annual net growth, up about 53% per cent. As you can learn from Figure 1, during 2014, the total amount of 35 interconnected domain names grew and fluctuated, and the total volume ended in this year's book, which is not far from 335,000. A closer look at the domain name monthly net growth, the first half of the total number of 35 interconnected domain names are on the rise, registration is good. Among them, the annual net growth of the maximum value of 5,247, appeared in March. In the second half of the year, the increase in the trend weakened, the first manifestation of the decline, 4 months of negative growth. The October decline was the largest, with a net reduction of 6,766 domain names.

This figure 2 shows that during the whole year of 2014, the total number of 35 interconnected domain names rose from 327,945 to 334,559, a total net increase of 6,614, the last year, the growth slowed down. Especially in the second half of the year, the monthly net increase of negative value of up to 4 months, to a certain extent, reduce the total number of 35 interconnected domain name growth level. While its domestic market share has declined from 4.48% to 3.63% per month, the development situation is not optimistic. Throughout the year, the total number of 35 interconnected domain names, despite growth, is clearly insufficient and the outlook is unclear.
