1. Enter the Registry in Resource Manager

2. Common registry operations
Expand the "Registry" entry and you will find several familiar primary keys in the Registry Editor. to locate a branch, you can perform exactly the same operations in the Registry Editor. The management of the Registry is also very simple. 1. Export the Registry
If you want to export a branch, expand it first, right-click it, select "Export" from the shortcut menu, and enter the file name in the pop-up "Save as" dialog box, the "Export type" dialog box will pop up. 2. Create a primary key
Similarly, to create a primary key on a branch, select it first; then select "New> key" (Figure 2) from the shortcut menu, and then select the primary key, select "RENAME" from the right-click menu and change it to the corresponding name.

4. Copy the registry key value
If you frequently write a registry manuscript, you will use the "Duplicate item name" in the Registry Editor to obtain the path character of a registry entry. Now, select and expand a registry branch in the resource manager, select copy full key name from the shortcut menu to copy the path and paste it in the word processing software.
5. Search for registry items
Right-click "Registry" or another primary key, and select "find" from the shortcut menu to open the "Search Registry" dialog box, you can check the search key, value, and data as in the Registry Editor ), you can also set whether the search is case sensitive (if "ignore cas" is selected, it is case insensitive.
After setting, enter the keyword in the text box and click "find" (Figure 3) to start searching.
6. Set the access permission for the Registry Key
If you do not want other accounts to modify certain registry items, you can set the permission to modify the branch to which you want to set permissions. Select "security…" from the shortcut menu ...", Then, in the pop-up dialog box, set it.
