As the operating system installation takes longer and longer, more and more application software installation and some improper settings will lead to slower and slower Windows systems. Once we can't stand the system's slowness, the only savior is to reinstall the operating system. But is it true? In fact, we forgot another savior-account in windows.
Account, originally a function opened by windows for multiple users to use the same machine. Different accounts have different configuration files, and different accounts have services and applications loaded after they enter the system.ProgramBut in practice, there are very few people who set up multiple accounts for the computer. Here, we want to apply this.
When our system becomes very slow, do not rush to reinstall the system first, and try the following steps: (here I use Windows XP as an example, the settings for other versions are basically the same)
1. Click Start> Control Panel> User Account to open the user account dialog box.
2. Click "Create a new account", enter the name of the new account in the displayed interface, and then click "Next ".
3. Select an account type on the displayed page, and click Create account to complete account creation.
4. restart the computer and log on to the machine with the account you just created. Does it feel that the system is a big boost compared with the previous one.
Note:
1. After using the above method, we can copy the previous "desktop" and "Quick Start bar" to the new account to avoid changing the usage habits.
Desktop -- cocuments and settings user name Desktop
Quick Start bar -- cocuments and settings username application datamicrosoftinternet assumerquick launch
2. when there is only one administrator account in the system, the "restricted" type is not optional when selecting the Account type, because Windows requires that if there are multiple accounts, at least one account except the Administrator account is of the "Computer Administrator" type.
3. After everything is ready, you can delete the "slow account.
