Windows Virtual PC supports the following host operating systems and Guest Operating Systems
HOST: Windows 7 Family Basic edition, Windows 7 family advanced edition (the old version does not support family edition), Windows 7 Professional Edition, Windows 7 flagship edition, and Windows 7 Enterprise Edition.
Guest: Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) Professional, Windows Vista Enterprise Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1 (SP1) windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows 7 Professional Edition, Windows 7 flagship edition, and Windows 7 Enterprise Edition.
Note: Virtual application functions are not supported on Windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows 7 Professional SKU.
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 7
Processor: A processor that supports hardware Virtualization (enable AMD-V or intelvt in BIOS ).
Memory: 2 GB memory (recommended ).
Hard Disk requirements: Windows Virtual PC requires 20 MB hard disk space. Each virtual Windows environment requires an additional 15 GB hard disk space (recommended ).
Note:Windows Virtual PC is only available in Windows 7. Make sure your processor supports virtualization technology.For example:Intel virtualization technology and AMD-V technology, and you need to confirm that these features are enabled.
