Fireworks draw New Year dog desktopexample, we have a glimpse of how to use it to draw a simple cartoon dog desktop with the use of the fireworks Path tool. In today's example, we use fireworks to draw a desktop image of a Christmas Kitty kitty. 1. Create a new file in fireworks with a size of 1024x768 pixels. Sets the canvas color to purple and adjusts the zoom to 66% for image editing. Draws an ellipse, as shown in Figure 1, with the fill color white and the stroke set to none.

2. Then draw the cat's ear, we also use the elliptical tool to draw, draw a small oval and use the Zoom tool to rotate, as shown in Figure 2.

3. We found that the ears looked too round. It's not like a cat's ear but a panda's, it doesn't matter. Just select the Subselection tool to click the ellipse, and then make adjustments to the anchor control bar to resize an ellipse to a sharp angle, as shown in Figure 3.

4. For the other ear is very simple, just copy the ear, and then right click, select "Deformation" | "Flip", and then drag it to the right and adjust it properly, so that the cat face contour is out, as shown in Figure 4.

5. Shift-click three vector paths, select them all, choose Modify | Combine paths | Union to combine three paths, thus facilitating control of the entire cat face, as shown in Figure 5.

6. Below we add the appropriate lighting effects to the face of the cat, which requires the use of an inner shadow effect. Select the path, and in the Properties panel, select Shadow and Halo | "Inner Shadow", as shown in Figure 6.

7. In the Floating dialog box, set the parameters for the inner shadow as shown in Figure 7. To get the image effect shown in Figure 8.

8. We find that only the right side of the face has an inner shadow, what if we want to have a shadow on the left side of the face? Simply, you just need to add the inner shadow again. The parameter settings are shown in Figure 9. Get the image shown in Figure 10.
