Drawing steel wall with Photoshopcs

In this exercise we will use the material collage method will be the ancient Great Wall with metal "wrapped" up to create a very realistic steel wall effect. 1. Start Photoshop CS, first we need to open a picture of the Great Wall, as a blueprint for artistic creation. Then look for two different textures of metal images from the Web or from the material tray, as shown in Figure 1, above is a similar cast iron material, the future use it to "build" on the Great Wall of the crenels, and the following is a steel plate material, used to "pave" the Great Wall of the corridor.

2. Use the "Move" tool to drag the steel plate material picture to the "Great Wall" picture, use the Rectangle marquee tool to "cut" the plate material into pieces, and put them in order, then perform the "edit → transform → free transform" command, based on the steps in the "Great Wall" picture, change the shape of the steel plate, Then continue to copy the steel plate to complete the construction of the corridor.

3. Refer to the above method, the cast iron material picture dragged to the "Great Wall" picture, copy it according to the layout of the brick wall collage, and then apply the "free transform" command according to the high and low wall trend of the transformation, as shown in Figure 2.

4. When the wall and step with metal material wrapped, using the "Polygon lasso" tool to the image of different dark side of the selection, the implementation of the "image → adjust → brightness/contrast" command to adjust brightness, enhance the Great Wall of the three-dimensional, such as by dimming the image to create a shadow. The effect is as shown in Figure 3.
