A framework is an advanced web technology that is more flexible than a template and makes it easy to create multiple pages that use the same layout. This article describes creating a framework-based Web page step and modifying the framework. Do 3 pages before making the frames page!
First, create a framework
1. Select File > New, in the New Document dialog box, select the Frameset category, and select the appropriate frameset from the frameset list.
2. Select Window > frame to open the frames panel. Click the frame in the Frames panel and select a frame. (If you want to select a frameset, click the border around the frameset in the Frames panel).
3. Click one of the frames pages in the frame panel, and then open the Properties panel and click the Browse for File button. Select a file for it. The following figure:
4. Select the page to open in the frame. Then repeat the steps above to set the frames page for the 2nd, 3 frames!
5. Select "File" > "Save All". Since the framework file was already selected in the last few steps, only the Save frameset file appears here, which is named for the frame, saved. A complete frame page is done.
II. revision of the framework
1. split the frame.
(1) in the frames page, place the insertion point on the border, and a double-headed arrow appears.
(2) Drag the border up to create a new frame file.
(3) on the properties panel, name the new frame, and click "Browse Files" to select a file as the frame's "source file."
(4) Select "File" > "Save All". Note: To split a frame with a frame border that is not on the edge of Design view, drag the frame border while holding down the ALT key.
2. view and set the frameset properties
Select Window > Frame to open the frames panel. In the Frames panel, click the border around the frameset, and select the frame set. On the Properties panel, select the frame area, and then modify the frameset properties. Use a similar method to modify the properties of a frame file.
3. set the target frame of the link
Select a link in the frames page, and in the Target pop-up menu, select the Frame or window in which the linked document should appear.
_blank opens the linked document in a new browser window while keeping the current window unchanged.
_parent opens the linked document in the parent frameset of the linked frame, replacing the entire frameset.
_self Opens the link in the current frame, replacing the contents of the frame.
_top opens the linked document in the current browser window, replacing all frames.
If the link needs to be opened outside the frames page, use target= "_top" or target= "_blank".
