The problem arises
1. Click the Insert Table icon on the Insert Panel to set the insert Table parameter as shown below.

2. Insert a table.

3. Enter text in the form

The table appears distorted.
You can fix the size of a cell by using Dreamweaver's own 1x1 pixel transparent image.

Generating 1x1 pixel transparent images
1. Select "Edit"/"parameter selection". In the Layout view category, click the Create button.

2. Select the directory where the transparent image is stored, and then click the Save button. Transparent images are generated at this time.

3. Click "OK" button to complete the parameter setup.

Fixed cell width using 1x1 pixel transparent image
1. In the site panel, select the transparent image.

2. Drag the transparent image to the cell.

3. And on the property panel, set the width of the transparent image.

4. A table in a cell that has a transparent image inserted.

5. Enter text in the cell, and the cell is not distorted.

6. Press F12 to test in IE browser, the cell is not deformed.
