In Dreamweaver MX, you can simply sort the contents of a column, or you can sort the contents of two columns more complex. You cannot sort tables that contain colspan or rowspan attributes, that is, tables that contain merged cells cannot be sorted. 　　 Here is a look at the specific process of sorting it! 1. Move the cursor to any cell in the table, or select the table, click Command/sort Table ... to open the Sort Table dialog box, as shown in the figure. 　　 2. In the dialog box, make the following selections: In the Sort by option, select the column (columns) that you want to sort. In the order option, select whether to sort by alphabetically (letter) or by numberically (number). This option is important when the contents of a column are numbers. The numbers are sorted by a list of one and two bits (such as 1, 10, 2, 20, 3, 30), rather than a neat sequence of numbers (such as 1, 2, 3, 10, 20, 30). Select whether the order is ascending-ascending (A to Z) or descending-descending (Z to A). When the score list is sorted by total score or rank, set to: Sort By:column5 or Column6 Order:numberically and Descending 3. To sort at a secondary level in a different column, specify the sort option in the then by pop-up menu. 4. Select the Sort Includes first row option to include the top row in the sort. Do not select this option if the first row is a header row that cannot be moved, such as when you sort the score table. 5. The two options for sort THEAD rows (if any), sort TFOOT rows (if any) are new additions to the Dreamweaver mx. Sort THEAD rows (if any): whether to include THEAD rows when sorting. Sort TFOOT rows (if any): whether to include TFOOT rows when sorting. 6.Keep tr Attributes with Sorted row: Keep the TR attribute consistent with the sort row. When selected, the TR attribute (such as color) changes with the properties in the cell in the sort row, otherwise it will not change. For example, in the order of the results table shown in Figure 1, when the Keep TR Attributes with Sorted Row is selected, the sort results are shown in the following illustration, and the gray background in the third row is sorted with the entire row of data. 　　 Sorting results as shown in the following illustration, the data in the third row is moved, and the background color is gray unchanged. 7. Finally click Apply or OK button, completed the table sorting operation, OK, now can be done!
