The form is the essential element of the web design making, it shows pictures, text, data, and form elements in an orderly fashion on the page in a concise and efficient way, so that we can design beautiful pages that use table-typesetting pages to maintain their original layout in different platforms and different resolution browsers, But in the different browser platform has the good compatibility, therefore the table is one of the most commonly used layout methods in the webpage.

Insert and edit a table

1. Insert Table

In the document window, place the cursor where you want to create the table, click the Table dialog box that pops up in the table button in the standard shortcut bar, and then insert the Settings table in the document window after you specify the table's properties.

The number of rows text box is used to set the number of rows in the table.

The number of columns text box is used to set the number of columns in the table.

The table width text box is used to set the width of the table, and you can fill in the value, followed by the Drop-down list box to set the width of the unit, with two options--percentages and pixels. When you select a percentage for the width unit, the width of the table changes depending on the size of the browser window.

The cell padding text box is used to set the size of the cell's internal padding.

The Cell spacing text box is used to set the distance between the cell and the cell.

Border thickness is used to set the width of the table's borders.

The header defines the header style, and you can select one of the four styles.

Title defines the title of the table.

Define the alignment of the table headers for the title.

2, select the Cell object

The settings for table, row, column, and cell properties are based on the selection of these objects.

The way to select an entire table is to place the mouse over any table border. Click to select the entire table when such a flag appears, or click anywhere within the table, and then select the <table> tab in the status bar, or click anywhere in the cell, right-click in the pop-up menu menu, select Table --Select Table "
