First, release the two downloaded files in one folder, then open the file and run setup.exe

The following step is very important. Select the installation directory. If the base directory is filled, other directories are automatically updated. It is worth noting that many tutorials on the Internet prompt that the directory name of the installation directory cannot contain spaces, Chinese characters, or other special characters. It is best to use English; otherwise, an error is prompted. I have not tried any errors. If you are interested, you can choose to give it a try and share the incorrect results. You can set the password as needed. However, if you strictly follow the Oracle password setting standard, you must use uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers. But it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you set the standard according to or not according to the Oracle password. This does not affect Oracle installation, but you must remember your own password.

If the Oracle password settings are not followed, the following dialog box is displayed. But it doesn't matter. Click "yes.

Click Next To Go To The prerequisite check page. The installer checks whether the software and hardware systems meet the requirements. If you don't have to worry about this, click Next.

Click Next To Go To The overview page and click Next.

The installation page is displayed. This process is a little long, just wait.

After the database management software file and dbms file are installed, a database with the default orcl name is automatically created and installed. Wait until the installation is complete.

The instance database has been created. By default, all accounts are locked and unavailable (except sys and system accounts are available). We recommend that you click password management on the right, unlock a common scott account and enter the password:

Unlock scott's account, remove the green check box and enter the password, as shown in figure.
