Solved the conflict between Tianyi broadband and win7 SP1. record it for reference.
I often use 3G Telecom cards in my laptop to access the Internet. I used to use it quite well. Recently, I think my laptop is too slow and I have changed to an SSD. Then I carved Windows 7 with a USB flash drive and installed it smoothly. After a few days, we suddenly found that the aero translucent Effect of win7 was gone over the past two days. Because there are some items when they are just installed, it must be caused by some changes made later.
After a long time, I first suspected that the system's score was invalid and I reevaluated it for a while. Then I suspected that the video card driver would not work. I uninstalled the video card and switched to the atidriver of Microsoft; finally, run the troubleshooting. The system displays "desktop window manager disabled", but it cannot be enabled for me.
Well, it seems that the problem lies in the desktop window manager. I found such a service on the Internet, so I went to the Service Manager to restart it. It was useless; it was useless to restart the entire system.
Run the troubleshooting task again, or "desktop window manager disabled" is displayed ". But the service manager shows that the desktop window manager service is in the starting status. Is it false? The system logs show that the Desktop Management Service is successfully started. Then I checked the application log and suddenly found an address error in the application log, which was reported by the desktop window manager:
Desktop window manager encounters a fatal error (0x80070008)
This error occurs many times. Haha, the problem is found. However, this log does not show the cause of the error, and there is no other information. Online query 0x80070008, probably because the storage space is insufficient and is useless.
Since the cause of the error cannot be directly found, I changed my mind to find the earliest error log, and then check the system's modification settings before and after this time. Finally, the first error was found at 01:10 the previous day. There was an installation log before the error:
Starting Windows Installer transaction c: \ 86ea6cefc3393993eff0da4ed89f4c \ vc_red.msi. Client process ID: 1808.
Product: Microsoft Visual C ++ 2008 redistributable-x86 9.0.21022 -- installation completed successfully.
Well, why is this VC library installed? I can't see it for a long time. I certainly won't have nothing to do to install such a thing. It should have been loaded along with another program. Then I went on to flip it over. There were no more useful logs. After reading the logs for a long time, I couldn't see what programs were installed and failed.
I have no idea about the log here, and I am eyeing the uninstallation of the win7 Program (that is, the control panel program and function), because I remember there was a list of the installation times of all the programs. When you open the list of installed programs, you can see that there is indeed a installation time, but only accurate to the day, And I installed a lot of programs that day, I can't guess which one is, it is declared that the search here also failed.
However, I still think of another one, that is, the installation time of the program will be stored in the Program Folder. Generally, the creation and modification time of the folder is the installation time. So I opened the Resource Manager program files, sorted by the modification time, and found a program installed at 01:10, which is the 3G Client Program of China Telecom Tianyi broadband. Uninstalling it without hesitation. Sure enough, the aero effect appeared.
It turns out that I used to use Windows 7 without SP1. After I reinstall the system, I added SP1. As a result, SP1 conflicts with the 3G Client Program of China Telecom Tianyi broadband.
At this point, the cause of the problem has been found. But at the same time, a new problem emerged-my 3G telecom card program was gone. However, this problem is not difficult to solve, because I used the Tianyi client that comes with the 3G card, and the version is older. It is certainly not the first time I have encountered this problem, telecom programmers should have met and solved it for a long time. Therefore, download and install the latest Tianyi broadband client and directly run the install driver for the 3G card to solve the problem. The 3G card and aero can coexist.
Note: This problem is probably related to the environment, because the same 3G Telecom program on another machine won't go wrong, and I haven't found the rule for the moment.
