Dynamic Desktop Wallpaper under Ubuntu10.04

I don't know if you have noticed when using Ubuntu that multiple wallpapers can be dynamically switched under Ubuntu. It seems that Win7 also has similar functions (I used win7 For A While ). The implementation principle is to use an xml file to record the wallpaper that can be switched. The following is an example self-contained in Ubuntu 10.04.

First of all, the default Ubuntu wallpaper is stored in the/usr/share/backgrounds/directory. www.linuxidc.com also has a cosmos directory (meaning "Universe") in this directory, the xml file in cosmos is capable of switching live desktop wallpapers.

The starttime label specifies the start time of the animation (slide). You can set the time according to your own time. This should not affect the functions to be implemented.

Setting Dynamic Desktop wallpaper has two good functions: 1. Meeting the needs of setting multiple wallpapers; 2. Time reminder. For example, if I set switching once every half an hour, I will know that half an hour has passed...

After setting, right-click the desktop and choose "Change desktop background"> "add". In the lower-right corner of the dialog box that appears, select "all files" ("Images "), find the xml file of the Dynamic Desktop wallpaper you have defined and double-click it to add it.
