Dynamics AX R2 Create a dedicated batch server

Another reason to install the additional AOS is to create a dedicated batch server .

The AOS instance affects the response speed of the batch job when it is processed. Installing a dedicated batch server can solve this problem.

The batch server cannot be added to the cluster and the user should not connect to it. Next, follow Reinhard to create a dedicated batch server.

1. Enter System administrator>setup>system>server Configuration.
2. In the list on the left, select the AOSthat you want to set as the batch server .
3. In the details on the right, select is Batch Server.
4. In batch Server Groups , select batch Group.
5. Canceling the other AOS is Batch Server.

When everything is done, open System administrator>common>users>online Users. You will see that server Name is msdynax_applicationserver on the servers and there are many worker threads , which is the batch that is being executed.
