Word2007 the most recently opened document by default to make it easier for the user to open the document the next time it is edited. Sometimes the user is in a privacy-preserving requirement, you need to remove the Word2007 document from the history, or turn off the Word document history feature, which is described as follows:
Step 1th, open the Word2007 window and click the Office Button. Click the Word Options button in the Office Button panel, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word Options dialog box, click the Advanced button. Adjusting the "show this number of recently used documents" value to 0 in the show area clears the history document record and turns off the Word2007 document history feature, as shown in Figure 2.

Tip: If you want to continue using the Word document History feature after you delete the current Word document history, you only need to adjust the "show this number of recently used documents" value to be greater than 0.
