Easily convert document files to Flash animations

Flash Animation

Maybe one day when surfing the Internet, you have seen the document page as shown in Figure 1, this is a flash animation, at the top of the animation has a control bar, through which you can search the text of the animation, adjust the zoom ratio of the screen, for paging and printing operations.

However, this animation is not produced by Flash, it is produced by the Macromedia Company of Flash, another named Flashpaper software, which allows you to text documents, pictures, web pages, and Word, printable documents such as Excel are converted to Flash animations or PDF documents in SWF format, and the formatting of the original document is retained "authentic".

To start Flashpaper, if the trial version is installed, a registration dialog will pop up, click the second item "I want to try Macromedia Flashpaper 2", and then click the "Continue" button to enter the main software interface, as shown in Figure 2. Is it a little weird, Flashpaper's menu bar and toolbars are so simple!

Do not underestimate it simply because of the appearance of Flashpaper, now look at its skill. For example, to convert a text document, select a TXT document, drag the icon of the document to the Flashpaper window, and then see a window labeled "Printing", as shown in Figure 3. After a moment, the contents of the document will all appear in the new Flashpaper window, and clicking the "Save as Macromedia Flash" button on the toolbar will convert the document to a SWF-formatted flash file.

Tip: If you have emeditor and other text editors installed in your computer, and you set it as the default associated TXT document, you cannot use the drag method. Can be solved by using the method of trick 2 below.

In Flashpaper, the converted document cannot be modified, and if you want to update the SWF or PDF file, you can only edit the original document and then convert the format accordingly.

If you click the Save as PDF button on the toolbar, the document will be converted to a PDF file, which can be set to enhance the security of the PDF before conversion. First, click on the Menu "File" → "Options", open the pop-up dialog box, "PDF Security" tab, check the 1th is the PDF to open the password protection function. You can also set the features in item 2nd to prevent others from printing, selecting text and pictures, and so on, as shown in Figure 4.

The drag method is especially useful for converting multiple documents at once, simply by selecting the required documents and dragging them to the main window of the Flashpaper software at once.

　　Trick 2 When the towing method "failed" ...

The drag method is simple, but not all files can be dragged to achieve conversion, such as the computer does not install ACDSee, such as Picture browser software, then the drag method for the picture on the "failure." We're going to have to find a path to this situation.

First Use IE browser to open the picture, then click on the menu "file" → "print", open the dialog box shown in Figure 5, select the icon labeled "Macromedia Flashpaper" in the "Choose Printer" area and click the "Print" button, then repeat the action in Method 1.

Tip: You can open the Layout tab of the Figure 4 dialog box to change the layout of the SWF document by setting page size, which is the amount of paper.

Trick 3 Office Document conversion

Speaking of document conversion, how can the famous Office software "concocted" documents be omitted? For Office documents, in addition to using trick 1 and Trick 2, you can also manipulate the toolbars embedded in office by Flashpaper.

After you install Flashpaper, open Word, and you will find that the toolbar adds a line of Flashpaper action buttons. Click the appropriate button to achieve document conversion. The most special is that in Excel we can also select only some of the content in the document for format conversion. To do this: first drag the mouse in the Excel document to select the area you want to convert, then select the menu file/print area/Set print area, and then click the Flashpaper 1th Conversion button in the toolbar.

The PDF document that you are familiar with here is not too much introduced, because the corresponding conversion software is many. So, after reading this article, do you find the advantages of Flash version of electronic documents?
