Easily process Dreamweaver paragraph indentation

When we use Drwamweaver to write English text, paragraphs are generally not indented (spaces are not supported); however, most of the time we use Chinese writing formats, you must enter two Chinese characters at the beginning of each segment. However, the browser recognizes only one space in the text. How to indent text paragraphs in Drwamweaver has become a major challenge in the production of web pages. To address this problem, this article provides you with the following solutions.

1. Click "Insert" -- "Non-Breaking Space (Insert Space)" (shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + Space key) and press it four times, the space of two Chinese characters is displayed. The disadvantage is that the editing status does not show the effect and can only be seen in the browser (not to say what you see is what you get ^-^). Therefore, do not think you are wrong because you cannot see spaces in the editing window. Otherwise, you have to use "undo" to remove the space characters with multiple inserts.

2. Use characters of the same color as the background color to insert spaces. This method is cumbersome and difficult to modify. When the browsing content is selected, hidden characters are exposed.

2. Use HTML

Use HTML to indent Chinese paragraphs. It is difficult for beginners who do not understand HTML.

The source files written in the pre-format are displayed according to the typographical characters in the source files. Both blank lines and spaces can be clearly distinguished. For example, the source file is:

If you are using the pinyin input of smart ABC, press SHIFT + Space. Then, the square Moon on the attribute bar of the input method is changed to a circle, and then press the space key. In addition, you can directly enter spaces in the full-angle mode of smart Chen Qiao. This method is relatively simple, but the disadvantage is that in the English character set, full-angle spaces will become garbled characters.

IV. Alternative methods

1. Insert a dot chart or image

A dot chart contains only one or several pixels and cannot be seen by the naked eye. When we insert such a dot chart at the beginning of a paragraph, and adjust the spaces between the left and right sides of the dot chart and between the upper and lower sides of the dot chart by using the attributes of heat form and VSPACE to indent the paragraph.

2. Insert a table with no borders or content

This method is similar to the preceding insert graph method. The table has no borders or content but is empty. Adjust the TABLE size with the table width and HEIGHT attributes to suit the indentation needs.

Table-based positioning is generally relatively reliable. This method can easily increase the source file size of the page. Therefore, it is not necessarily the first choice for format control.

Finally, I will tell you the most primitive method: copy spaces in some text editing software (such as Notepad) and paste them in Dreamweaver.
