Easy Sync IE browser favorites with SkyDrive

You can use the Windows Live Mesh tool to sync with the Internet Explorer Favorites folder. But now that gadget has vanished, is there any other way to sync the IE favorites in different terminals?

If you need to sync your computer with a Windows 8 system, it's very simple. Because the sync feature has been added to the Windows 8 system, you can just open the IE Favorites Sync in the system.

If you are using Windows 7 and below, then we can use the SkyDrive to do it.

Action method:

1, the first need to sync the computer to download and install SkyDrive desktop client;

2, after the installation of the SkyDrive to open the Sync folder, the folder inside the establishment of an IE Favorites folder, we take favorites as an example;

3. Open the file path of the current IE Favorites folder. Enter%USERPROFILE% in the Address bar and press ENTER to open the user folder;

4. Right-click the Favorites folder (or Favorites), select Properties, switch to the Location tab, and click the Move button;

5, in the pop-up selection box, we selected just the new Favorites folder in SkyDrive, click "Select Folder";

6, click on the "Confirm" button, will pop up a folder to move the prompts, click Yes, automatic copy can be completed.

This will be the local IE Favorites sync to the SkyDrive cloud, when you want to achieve synchronization on other computers, simply install SkyDrive desktop client, and then move the IE Favorites folder to Favorites folders to achieve a different computer between the Internet IE Favorites sync.
