STEP1: First use a ruler to measure the original invitation size of 36cmx25cm. Turn on Photoshop (other software is OK, as long as it can be scanned as a picture), with the lowest resolution to the part of the invitation to fill out the content of the half of the Qj.jpg document, and then in Photoshop qj.jpg document to 36cmx25cm.
STEP2: open Word2003, new Word document, in "file → page Setup", set page size to 25cmx36cm, margin is 2cm, orientation select "Landscape" (figure).
Note: The page setup must be so set, otherwise A3 printer is unable to print vertically.
Step3: in "format → background → fill effect → picture → select picture" To select the first scan of the picture document Qj.jpg as the background. This step note: The page display must be 100%, if not, the background display will be misplaced, affecting the back of the bit.
Step4: in file → page setup, adjust the left margin to 19.5cm, and then insert a 15 Row 15 column table. You can set and merge the size of the table cells according to the actual position in the background invitation. If the number of columns and rows is not enough or superfluous, directly add or delete, set up, select the entire table, in the table properties → table → borders and shading → borders, the table borders to none. This step needs to note: When adjusting the file size of the table, follow the order from top left to right, coordinate the arrangement, and finally merge the cells.
STEP5: in the adjusted table, fill in the content to fill in, set the font and size. If you are proficient, this step can be done in conjunction with the above adjustment form. In this step, it is important to have a full estimate of what is being filled in the table, and it may change the size of the table if you fill in too many of the contents. It is also important to note that the total size of the table is best adjusted to just one page, so that it is advantageous to print in bulk later.
STEP6: Create a document with Excel to make columns of the changed data in the invitation. In this case, where there are changes, only the object of the petition and the package in the table are different, so we can set Excel to two columns, one for the name, one for the room (pictured), and the Data.xls document.
STEP7: Add to Word2003, click "view → toolbar → mail Merge", the toolbar will appear mail merge items. Click to open the data source, select the Data.xls document just built, the default value is determined. At this point you can see that the toolbar has been lightened. Move the cursor where you want to insert the name, and then click the Insert field on the toolbar to insert the field you want into the corresponding table bar. Similarly, insert the "in-room" field below the table. All settings are now complete.
STEP8: After setting up, we can click "View merge Data" in the toolbar to see the merge effect, and then print to see how the printing effect, if there is an offset, you can change the margins and width of the table to adjust. After satisfactory results, we can click "Merge to New document" To make all the data to be printed documents, you can click "Merge to the printer" directly printed out (as shown).
To this point, a uniform format for printing invitations in batches is complete. If you want to change the data, you can change it directly in Excel, and then reopen the Word document just OK. From this example we can also get an inspiration, for a lot of need to play the form, etc., we can use this method to deal with.
