Eclipse + bluestacks Debug Android App

Pre-preparation:
1. Prepare eclipse that already has the ability to debug Android programs with the simulator.
2. Download and install the bluestacks. The address of the Chinese website is http://www.bluestacks.net.cn/Download/


After the preparation is complete, the next step is to let Eclipse and bluestacks communicate with each other. First open the Bluestacks, then open Eclipse, switch to the DDMS perspective, you can see the devices view has found the bluestacks of the analog device emulator-5554

• Then find a project to debug. Here I looked for an example project "Avg_opengles" for the Lgame framework author to do the testing. Set "Debug Configuarations" under Debug settings first.
  

 

• In the "Target" tab of the Open Debug interface, select "Always prompt to pick device".
