1. Install JRE
Because eclipse is developed in Java, but in ubuntu10.04 under the default software warehouse there is no sun-java6-jre this package, through the following two commands to add:
Add-Apt-repository PPA: ferramrobert to/Java
Apt-Get update
Open the new software package manager and you will see that you only need to run the eclipse environment, so you only need to install JRE.
2. Install eclipse PDT
2.1Download PDT 3.0.2 w/eclipse indigo to the http://www.zend.com/community/pdt/downloads site
2.2
Download the eclipse PDT package (All-in-OneLinux x86/GTK 2 32-bit) decompress the package to an appropriate directory. As long as the JDK/JRE environment is set up, it doesn't matter where the eclipse decompression folder is put. Run the following command to decompress the terminal:
Sudo tar-zxvf '/home/farlee/download/eclipse-php-galileo-SR2-linux-gtk.tar.gz'
Decompress the package to the/home/farlee directory. After extracting the package from eclipse, you can use the package without installation such as./configure # make install.
