Eclipse CDT solves the "For Loop initial declaration used outside c99 mode" error

Source: Internet
Author: User

The 'for' loop initial declaration used outside c99 mode error occurs when C Programs are compiled using eclipse CDT because the-STD = c99 option is added.

The c99 standard supports the definition and initialization method of variable I of the For Loop below:
For (INT I = 1; I <10; I ++)
{
Printf ("Hello C! ");
}

C standards other than the c99 standard support the definition and initialization method of variable I of the For Loop below:
Int I = 1;
For (I = 1; I <10; I ++)
{
Printf ("Hello C! ");
}

Solution:

Right-click the project and choose Properties> C/C ++ build> Settings> tool Settings> gcc C Complier> Miscellaneous

Append-STD = c99 to "other flags"
