Eclipse Configure the Tomcat publishing path issue Wtpwebapps

Eclipse configuration Tomcat is by default published to the. metadata\plugins\ directory, Wtpwebapps.

This will not find the published item under the actual Tomcat directory. So how are we going to set it up.

Find servers on the Console menu, then right-click and new server, as shown below

Then finish, do not select Next, and if you choose Next, do not select Add any items.

Then, on the server name, double-click, or right-click the menu, select Open

At this point, will come out of the configuration file, there are two to modify: the following figure

First: Server Location

Select the middle one, then change the deploy path to:

WebApps

Second: Timeouts, boot timeout, default is too small

Make it bigger, change it to 1200.
