Recently encountered a problem when opening eclipse will pop up the following dialog box
Find the relevant information on the Internet after the combination of their own problems, summarized as follows.
Cause of the problem:
1. The usual reason is that the version of Eclipse installed or the version of the Java JDK does not match, and generally it is best to install the corresponding Eclipse and Java JDK versions on a 64-bit operating system.
2. eclipse.ini file configuration information error.
3. The Eclipse installation directory has special characters (for example: #,! , @, etc.).
4. The version of Eclipse you are using may be too new to cause the JVM to not support it.
Workaround:
1. Look at the operating system version, my 64-bit Windows 7.
2. Download the corresponding 64-bit Java JDK and install it.
3. Modify the Eclipse.ini file, reference content Http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini#Specifying_the_JVM.
Add content (the path must be another line):
-vm
C:\Program Files\java\jdk1.7.0_71\bin\javaw.exe
It's OK to start eclipse again.
