Eclipse Standard Edition is not able to create Dynamic Web Project.
Therefore, you need to install Web Tools Platform (WTP).
See some posts on the web about how to install the WTP, but these posts are too old, for the current latest version of Eclipse Kepler (4.3.2) SR2, I did not install correctly, perhaps I am too stupid.
So how do you install the WTP for the latest version of Eclipse standard?
First, go to the WTP official website: http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/
The page has actually shown a link to the online installation information--software repository site, as well as the WTP version information, currently the latest version is 3.5.2
Click on the link--"Software repository site", go to the following page
It gives the URL of the online installation, but this URL is outdated and does not correspond to the current Kepler version.
So change this URL slightly, instead of http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/repository/kepler/
With the URL, you can install it online, in Eclipse's Help menu-"Install New Software"
Copy the URL to work with, select the following two items (one of which should be a patch), all the way next, and agree to install the protocol, finish, and install to restart Eclipse.
Note: WTP is currently the latest version of 3.5.2, and I am using the latest Eclipse standard Edition Kepler (4.3.2) SR2, so this version of the WTP plugin should be matched to the IDE, if it does not match, it is likely that the installation failed or could not be used
After you restart Eclipse, you can create a new dynamic Web Project in the file-"other-" web!
Finally, please keep your network connected when installing online.
