Recommended use of Consolas under Windows

It is recommended to use Dejavu Sans Mono under Linux,

Different system installation files are the same, Windows directly double-click Open can, Linux installation method is as follows;

Under the/usr/share/fonts/directory, create a new folder. For example, if I install the Consolas font, I create a new folder named Consolas. Then perform the following steps:

sudo mkdir/usr/share/fonts/consolas

sudo cp directory for storing fonts/consolas.ttf/usr/share/fonts/consolas

sudo chmod 644/usr/share/fonts/consolas/*

Cd/usr/share/fonts/consolas

sudo mkfontscale

sudo mkfontdir

sudo fc-cache-fv
