Eclipse import error: some projects were hidden because they exist in the workspace directory

Source: Internet
Author: User

Sometimes, when we import an existing project, an error occurs, and the next button is not displayed. The error message is as follows: some projects were hidden because they exist in the workspace directory.

After reading this article for a long time, many Chinese websites did not see any feasible explanations. I accidentally saw it on a foreign language website. At this time, it seems that English is particularly important!

The cause of this error is that the project name is duplicated! It is not just a folder name. I believe many people have modified the folder name, but it is useless. The key is to modify a file in the project! That is, the. project file!

Open it in notepad and modify <projectdescription>
<Name> projectname </Name>.

If you import it again, you can enjoy it.
