We often want to use third-party jar packages when developing programs with Eclipse. At this point we need to import this jar package under the corresponding project. The following diagram illustrates the steps to import a jar package.

1. Right-click the project's root directory and click Properties to enter Properties. or select the project root directory and press Alt-enter.

2. Select the Java Build Path in the Properties page, check the Libraries tab, and click Add External JARs.
