Eclipse Installation activiti5.18.0 Workflow plug-ins and problems with Activiti plug-ins during installation and resolution

1 My Environment

Eclipse mars.2 Release (4.5.0) activiti-designer-5.18.0.zip 

2 Installation: 

first, online installation

Open Eclipse, Help, Install New software Add

Name:activiti BPMN 2.0 Designer
location:http://activiti.org/designer/update/

Follow the next step, and after the installation is complete, reboot.

second, offline installation

The Web site provides various versions of the offline plug-in package download, download the required version.

Here I sample the Activiti-designer-5.14.0.zip offline package, and then in the above dialog box, just no longer enter the URL, but instead of selecting the Zip offline package has been down, as follows:

Then the next step is to install it. 

3 problems and solutions of Activiti plug-in during installation error handling in the installation

The error message for the prompt is:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

Software being Installed:activiti Eclipse BPMN 2.0 Designer 5.14.1 (Org.activiti.designer.feature.feature.group 5.14.1)

Missing Requirement:activiti Eclipse BPMN 2.0 Designer 5.14.1 (Org.activiti.designer.feature.feature.group 5.14.1) Requires ' org.eclipse.emf.transaction 1.4.0 ' but it could wasn't be found

Workaround:

Org.eclipse.emf.workspace_1.5.1.v20120328-0001.jar
Org.eclipse.emf.validation_1.7.0.201306111341.jar
Org.eclipse.emf.transaction_1.4.0.v20100331-1738.jar

Copy these three files to your Eclipse's plugin folder and restart Eclipse to install the Activiti plugin again without an error.

Note: Some students find a jar package on the Internet, one of which is: Org.eclipse.emf.validation_1.4.0.v20100428-2315.jar, This 1.4 version is sometimes problematic and must be replaced by the Org.eclipse.emf.validation_1.7.0.201306111341.jar 1.7 version.

Restart Eclipse. In the Package Explorer panel, right-click, select New, tap Other, if you see the image below, the Activiti plugin has been installed successfully.
