Problem description

Recently a new Maven project with Eclipse, the result just new completed index.jsp page error, first put the wrong information to see!

Workaround

First: Add jar package support directly in the Pom.xml file

<dependency>    <groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>    <artifactid>javax.servlet-api </artifactId>    <version>3.1.0</version></dependency>

After adding ctrl+s save a bit, you will find the project no error!

Second type: Add Tomcat support

First step: Select the project Right click, select "Build Path", select "Configure Build Path".

Step Two: Click on the Libraries tab and click the Add Library button

Step three: Select the server Runtime, then select Tomcat,

Fourth step: Click Finish, this time will also see the project no error message!
